What is “Robot commands”?

Robot commands is a Kindergarten – 1st grade coding skill in the Step by Step region of the TernQuest map — first, next, last — steps in order. It is aligned to CSTA K-12 Computer Science Standards standard 1A-AP-10. Children work through 20 grade-tagged questions at the recall level (quick recall), and Pip the tern offers a hint — never the answer — when they get stuck.

How does it unlock?

Skills on the map unlock in order: finishing the skill before this one with a mastery score of 60 or more opens robot commands. A grown-up can also assign it directly from the dashboard, and teachers can assign it to a whole class with a join code.
