Read a chart is a Kindergarten math skill in the Number Trail region of the TernQuest map — count to 120, compare numbers, jump by tens & read charts. It is aligned to California Common Core standard 1.MD.4. Children work through 24 grade-tagged questions at the apply level (applying the idea), and Pip the tern offers a hint — never the answer — when they get stuck.
How does it unlock?
Skills on the map unlock in order: finishing the skill before this one with a mastery score of 60 or more opens read a chart. A grown-up can also assign it directly from the dashboard, and teachers can assign it to a whole class with a join code.
