What is “Ramps & rolls”?

Ramps & rolls is a Kindergarten – 1st grade science skill in the Push & Pull region of the TernQuest map — make things move, speed up & stop. It is aligned to Next Generation Science Standards standard K-PS2-2. Children work through 20 grade-tagged questions at the reason level (reasoning it through), and Pip the tern offers a hint — never the answer — when they get stuck.

How does it unlock?

Skills on the map unlock in order: finishing the skill before this one with a mastery score of 60 or more opens ramps & rolls. A grown-up can also assign it directly from the dashboard, and teachers can assign it to a whole class with a join code.
