Faster & slower

What is “Faster & slower”?

Faster & slower is a Kindergarten science skill in the Push & Pull region of the TernQuest map — make things move, speed up & stop. It is aligned to California Common Core standard K-PS2-1. Children work through 0 grade-tagged questions at the apply level (applying the idea), and Pip the tern offers a hint — never the answer — when they get stuck.

How does it unlock?

Skills on the map unlock in order: finishing the skill before this one with a mastery score of 60 or more opens faster & slower. A grown-up can also assign it directly from the dashboard, and teachers can assign it to a whole class with a join code.
