Railroads & newcomers
Practise railroads & newcomers in TernQuest →What is “Railroads & newcomers”?
Railroads & newcomers is a 4th grade social studies skill in the Statehood Summit region of the TernQuest map — bear flag, railroads & state government. It is aligned to California History-Social Science Content Standards standard 4.4.1. Children work through 20 grade-tagged questions at the apply level (applying the idea), and Pip the tern offers a hint — never the answer — when they get stuck.
How does it unlock?
Skills on the map unlock in order: finishing the skill before this one with a mastery score of 60 or more opens railroads & newcomers. A grown-up can also assign it directly from the dashboard, and teachers can assign it to a whole class with a join code.
