Where we live is a Kindergarten – 1st grade social studies skill in the Map Meadow region of the TernQuest map — near & far, compass rose, land & water. It is aligned to California History-Social Science Content Standards standard 1.2.1. Children work through 20 grade-tagged questions at the recall level (quick recall), and Pip the tern offers a hint — never the answer — when they get stuck.
How does it unlock?
Skills on the map unlock in order: finishing the skill before this one with a mastery score of 60 or more opens where we live. A grown-up can also assign it directly from the dashboard, and teachers can assign it to a whole class with a join code.
