What's it about? is a Kindergarten reading skill in the True Things Meadow region of the TernQuest map — real facts about bees, seeds and helpers. It is aligned to California Common Core standard RI.K.2. Children work through 24 grade-tagged questions at the reason level (reasoning it through), and Pip the tern offers a hint — never the answer — when they get stuck.
How does it unlock?
Skills on the map unlock in order: finishing the skill before this one with a mastery score of 60 or more opens what's it about?. A grown-up can also assign it directly from the dashboard, and teachers can assign it to a whole class with a join code.
