What is “Weather hazards & solutions”?

Weather hazards & solutions is a 3rd grade science skill in the Weather & Climate region of the TernQuest map — weather data, world climates & hazards. It is aligned to California Common Core standard 3-ESS3-1. How does it unlock?

Skills on the map unlock in order: finishing the skill before this one with a mastery score of 60 or more opens weather hazards & solutions. A grown-up can also assign it directly from the dashboard, and teachers can assign it to a whole class with a join code.
