Time to five minutes is a Kindergarten math skill in the Measure Meadow region of the TernQuest map — measure it, time it, then read the chart. It is aligned to California Common Core standard 2.MD.7. Children work through 24 grade-tagged questions at the apply level (applying the idea), and Pip the tern offers a hint — never the answer — when they get stuck.
How does it unlock?
Skills on the map unlock in order: finishing the skill before this one with a mastery score of 60 or more opens time to five minutes. A grown-up can also assign it directly from the dashboard, and teachers can assign it to a whole class with a join code.
