Theme trackers

What is “Theme trackers”?

Theme trackers is a 4th grade reading skill in the Story Summit region of the TernQuest map — theme, characters, narrators & story shapes. It is aligned to California Common Core standard RL.4.2. Children work through 24 grade-tagged questions at the reason level (reasoning it through), and Pip the tern offers a hint — never the answer — when they get stuck.

How does it unlock?

Skills on the map unlock in order: finishing the skill before this one with a mastery score of 60 or more opens theme trackers. A grown-up can also assign it directly from the dashboard, and teachers can assign it to a whole class with a join code.
