What is “Text tool kit”?

Text tool kit is a Kindergarten reading skill in the Discovery Trail region of the TernQuest map — headings, labels and real facts on every page. It is aligned to California Common Core standard RI.1.5. Children work through 24 grade-tagged questions at the apply level (applying the idea), and Pip the tern offers a hint — never the answer — when they get stuck.

How does it unlock?

Skills on the map unlock in order: finishing the skill before this one with a mastery score of 60 or more opens text tool kit. A grown-up can also assign it directly from the dashboard, and teachers can assign it to a whole class with a join code.
