Shortest path
Practise shortest path in TernQuest →What is “Shortest path”?
Shortest path is a Kindergarten coding skill in the Follow the Arrows region of the TernQuest map — forward, turn, reach the goal. It is aligned to California Common Core standard 1A-AP-12. Children work through 0 grade-tagged questions at the reason level (reasoning it through), and Pip the tern offers a hint — never the answer — when they get stuck.
How does it unlock?
Skills on the map unlock in order: finishing the skill before this one with a mastery score of 60 or more opens shortest path. A grown-up can also assign it directly from the dashboard, and teachers can assign it to a whole class with a join code.
