Rhyme time is a Kindergarten reading skill in the Sound Start region of the TernQuest map — single letter sounds & first blending. It is aligned to California Common Core standard RF.K.2a. Children work through 30 grade-tagged questions at the recall level (quick recall), and Pip the tern offers a hint — never the answer — when they get stuck.
How does it unlock?
Skills on the map unlock in order: finishing the skill before this one with a mastery score of 60 or more opens rhyme time. A grown-up can also assign it directly from the dashboard, and teachers can assign it to a whole class with a join code.
