What is “Part or whole job?”?

Part or whole job? is a 3rd grade coding skill in the Break It Down region of the TernQuest map — split a big job - then test it. It is aligned to California Common Core standard 1B-AP-11. Children work through 24 grade-tagged questions at the apply level (applying the idea), and Pip the tern offers a hint — never the answer — when they get stuck.

How does it unlock?

Skills on the map unlock in order: finishing the skill before this one with a mastery score of 60 or more opens part or whole job?. A grown-up can also assign it directly from the dashboard, and teachers can assign it to a whole class with a join code.
