What is “Need or want?”?

Need or want? is a Kindergarten social studies skill in the Needs & Wants Market region of the TernQuest map — needs, wants, money, jobs. It is aligned to California Common Core standard 1.6. Children work through 0 grade-tagged questions at the apply level (applying the idea), and Pip the tern offers a hint — never the answer — when they get stuck.

How does it unlock?

Skills on the map unlock in order: finishing the skill before this one with a mastery score of 60 or more opens need or want?. A grown-up can also assign it directly from the dashboard, and teachers can assign it to a whole class with a join code.
