What is “Must, may & might”?

Must, may & might is a 4th grade reading skill in the Grammar Gears region of the TernQuest map — tenses, modals, adjective order & phrases. It is aligned to California Common Core standard L.4.1c. Children work through 24 grade-tagged questions at the reason level (reasoning it through), and Pip the tern offers a hint — never the answer — when they get stuck.

How does it unlock?

Skills on the map unlock in order: finishing the skill before this one with a mastery score of 60 or more opens must, may & might. A grown-up can also assign it directly from the dashboard, and teachers can assign it to a whole class with a join code.
