What is “Lines of symmetry”?

Lines of symmetry is a 4th grade math skill in the Angle Outpost region of the TernQuest map — lines, shapes, symmetry & angle measure. It is aligned to California Common Core standard 4.G.3. Children work through 24 grade-tagged questions at the apply level (applying the idea), and Pip the tern offers a hint — never the answer — when they get stuck.

How does it unlock?

Skills on the map unlock in order: finishing the skill before this one with a mastery score of 60 or more opens lines of symmetry. A grown-up can also assign it directly from the dashboard, and teachers can assign it to a whole class with a join code.
