What is “Light to see”?

Light to see is a Kindergarten – 1st grade science skill in the Light & Sound region of the TernQuest map — vibrations, light & sending messages. It is aligned to Next Generation Science Standards standard 1-PS4-2. Children work through 20 grade-tagged questions at the apply level (applying the idea), and Pip the tern offers a hint — never the answer — when they get stuck.

How does it unlock?

Skills on the map unlock in order: finishing the skill before this one with a mastery score of 60 or more opens light to see. A grown-up can also assign it directly from the dashboard, and teachers can assign it to a whole class with a join code.
