Helpers at school & in town

What is “Helpers at school & in town”?

Helpers at school & in town is a Kindergarten – 1st grade social studies skill in the Helper Harbor region of the TernQuest map — who helps, what they use, a helper's day. It is aligned to California History-Social Science Content Standards standard K.3. Children work through 20 grade-tagged questions at the apply level (applying the idea), and Pip the tern offers a hint — never the answer — when they get stuck.

How does it unlock?

Skills on the map unlock in order: finishing the skill before this one with a mastery score of 60 or more opens helpers at school & in town. A grown-up can also assign it directly from the dashboard, and teachers can assign it to a whole class with a join code.
