Fix the program

What is “Fix the program”?

Fix the program is a 1st grade – 2nd grade coding skill in the Bug Hunt region of the TernQuest map — spot the bug, fix it, test again. It is aligned to CSTA K-12 Computer Science Standards standard 1A-AP-14. Children work through 20 grade-tagged questions at the reason level (reasoning it through), and Pip the tern offers a hint — never the answer — when they get stuck.

How does it unlock?

Skills on the map unlock in order: finishing the skill before this one with a mastery score of 60 or more opens fix the program. A grown-up can also assign it directly from the dashboard, and teachers can assign it to a whole class with a join code.
