What is “Find the signal”?

Find the signal is a 1st grade – 2nd grade coding skill in the Signal Station region of the TernQuest map — when this happens, do that. It is aligned to CSTA K-12 Computer Science Standards standard 1A-AP-12. Children work through 24 grade-tagged questions at the apply level (applying the idea), and Pip the tern offers a hint — never the answer — when they get stuck.

How does it unlock?

Skills on the map unlock in order: finishing the skill before this one with a mastery score of 60 or more opens find the signal. A grown-up can also assign it directly from the dashboard, and teachers can assign it to a whole class with a join code.
