Ending rules is a 3rd grade reading skill in the Word Works Canyon region of the TernQuest map — split big words, fix tricky endings, and build strong sentences.. It is aligned to California Common Core standard L.3.2f. Children work through 24 grade-tagged questions at the apply level (applying the idea), and Pip the tern offers a hint — never the answer — when they get stuck.
How does it unlock?
Skills on the map unlock in order: finishing the skill before this one with a mastery score of 60 or more opens ending rules. A grown-up can also assign it directly from the dashboard, and teachers can assign it to a whole class with a join code.
