Continents & oceans

What is “Continents & oceans”?

Continents & oceans is a 1st grade – 2nd grade social studies skill in the Globe Grove region of the TernQuest map — continents, oceans, grids & keys. It is aligned to California History-Social Science Content Standards standard 2.2.2. Children work through 20 grade-tagged questions at the recall level (quick recall), and Pip the tern offers a hint — never the answer — when they get stuck.

How does it unlock?

Skills on the map unlock in order: finishing the skill before this one with a mastery score of 60 or more opens continents & oceans. A grown-up can also assign it directly from the dashboard, and teachers can assign it to a whole class with a join code.
