Sound Surgery is a reading game for Kindergarten – 2nd grade that practises phonemic awareness: delete & swap sounds. Like every TernQuest game it is tied to a skill on the curriculum map (state standards — Common Core, NGSS, CSTA and History–Social Science, PK–5), and Pip the tern gives hints, never answers.
