What does Cipher Quest teach?

Cipher Quest is a coding game for 3rd grade – 5th grade that practises patterns & cryptography. Like every TernQuest game it is tied to a skill on the curriculum map (state standards — Common Core, NGSS, CSTA and History–Social Science, PK–5), and Pip the tern gives hints, never answers.
